I am an Austrian translator and interpreter living in Chile
After completing my studies at the University of Vienna, Austria, I moved to Chile where I work as a freelance translator and interpreter helping my clients cross and dissolve language barriers. My working languages are German, English and Spanish.
I specialize in the legal and economic field. I am a certified translator by the German Embassy in Chile and a Court Translator and Interpreter at the Court of Appeals in Santiago, San Miguel, Concepción and Chillán.
German is my mother tongue and I was brought up in a German speaking culture. Additionally, I have been living in South America for many years and soaked up everything about the language and culture.
Therefore, I have a lot of experience and understanding concerning the needs of those markets. Latin America is an emerging market and globalization requires companies and people to communicate and connect in English. This is where I come in and transmit my clients’ message.
My goal is clear: I want to help my clients to communicate efficiently in their target markets, at institutions, in official contexts and in general with all the people they wish to connect with.

Simultaneous interpreting is the transfer of a spoken text from one language to another. It is commonly used in international conferences and congresses and multilingual events. I am available for in-person events in Chile and abroad. The pandemic opened up the possibility of carrying out those events via Zoom. This platform offers a simultaneous interpretation function and I am trained in and equipped for remote interpretation. I am happy to help you find the best option for your event.

Consecutive interpreting consists of transferring the message of a spoken text from one language to another, after the speaker has finished. It is recommended for bilingual meetings or negotiations with few participants and can be conducted both in person and online (no special platform needed).
I specialize in translations in the economic-financial field, with a focus on sustainability. If you need to translate Sustainability Reports, Annual Reports (i.e. according to GRI or SASB standards), I am here to help.
I specialize in translation of legal documents (contracts, court filings, etc.) and in intellectual property law from Spanish into German and viceversa. I am a Court Translator and Interpreter for German-Spanish at the Court of Appeals in Santiago, San Miguel, Concepción and Chillán.
I am certified by the Embassy of Germany in Chile and provide certified translations for visa applications, surname definitions, citizenship applications etc. For more information, please visit the Embassy’s website here (only available in Spanish and German). Furthermore, I offer assistance for filling out the Embassy forms.
Upon completion of my Bachelor’s degree in Transcultural Communication, I continued with my Master’s degree in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Vienna, Austria, and graduated in 2018. Since then, I have been working as a freelance translator and interpreter. I strive for continuous improvement and constantly update my skills and knowledge to provide the best services possible to my clients. I am a member of the Chilean Association of Translators and Interpreters (COTICH) and a founding member of the “Club de los Grandes Traductores.” Furthermore, I am certified by the German Embassy in Chile for German-Spanish translations.
